About DCHYC

The Douglas County Healthy Youth Coalition was established in March of 2016, comprised of numerous agencies in the county that have a stake in youth wellbeing. We are built around the community and seek to provide a cross-sectional representation of community members.

This includes:

Mental health providers
Law enforcement
First responders
Local hospitals
County school district
Human services
District attorney’s office
Faith-based community
Youth-serving organizations
Parents & community members

Advocate for the physical and mental health and well-being of Douglas County youth.

Partner with schools and community organizations to spread awareness about youth health.

Empower young people to take control of their health and well-being.
